What child does not like big machines? Sure, they can seem frighteningly large at times, but imagine being able to sit behind the levers on a real excavator?
The Munktell Museum is a popular destination for the whole family. With us, you can spend many hours exploring old engines, machine tools, tractors & other cool machines.
Here the children get to test climb the machines!
Here, history is interspersed with play and interaction - in several of our machines, children can climb up and really get to discover knobs, buttons and levers. There is also a simulator for both excavator and loader for those who are curious to drive "for real". If the craving for coffee becomes too great, you can take a break in our café.
Play corner!
When the desire to play becomes too great, we have our own play corner with a tractor track and drawing table for those who may have been inspired to draw their own machine - or something else nice that we can put on the wall. There is also an electric excavator that starts when it is fed with some coins.
